I’ve been baking since I was a little girl. A lady never reveals her age, so let’s just say I have a LOT of experience.

A few years ago, a friend gave me a cookbook featuring the most gorgeous decorated cookies I’d ever seen. From the very first batch, I was hooked. I began researching and experimenting with various decorating techniques and worked at perfecting my sugar cookie recipe. I’d eaten plenty of pretty cookies in my day, but more often than not they didn’t taste all that great. I was determined that my cookies would be as soft and delicious as they were adorable.

I started baking for friends and family, and time and again they would insist that I should be doing it professionally.

The baking and decorating brought me immense joy, but the very best part was seeing how a gift of cookies never failed to put a smile on the recipient’s face. It was a calling I couldn’t resist, and with it, My Nana’s Cookies was born.
